In August of 2020, Addison Rae was named by Forbes magazine as the highest-earning TikToker worldwide. It is also among the most followed people on TikTok. Addison Rae has also become the most popular person on YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter. In 2021, she made her singing debut with the release of her song Obsessed. It reached fourth spot on New Zealand Hot Singles charts and was also the sixth trending YouTube video on the same day. Addison Rae also has nominations at prestigious occasions like People's Choice Awards MTV Movie & TV Awards as well as Kids' Choice Awards.
