Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal activist and a writer, who has won numerous Awards. Ali MacGraw is known for her roles in films like Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. She grew up in an artistic family in New York and wanted to pursue a career in artistic fields. Beginning, she worked as a photographer's assistant. Later on, her career shifted into directing and modeling. She was noticed in her two first films and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most Promising newcomer. MacGraw's movie Love Story proved a major smash and brought her world fame as well as the Academy Award' nomination and a Golden Globe award. Within just three short films, she became the top female box-office star worldwide. Her footprints from 1972 and autograph were recorded on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. Other credits are The Getaway Convoy Players, television miniseries The Winds of War and other. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography of hers, was published. MacGraw was married three times.
