Her most well-known role is Jenny Humphrey in the CW show Gossip Girl. The music of Momsen is used in movies and TV shows like How to Be Single, Going the Distance and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen was born on July 26 1993. She is the younger sibling of Sloane Momsen who is also an actor. She was a dancer at the Center of Creative Arts St. Louis. Her first professional role was a Shake 'n Bake commercial in the national market at age of three. Momsen had a career pause for three years, before being chosen to play the lead role in Misconceptions the WB television show. Also at this time Momsen appeared in the 2006 movie Saving Shiloh. Additionally, she auditioned for the role of lead in Hannah Montana. She was in the top 3 however, Miley was chosen to play the lead role.
